- Kedley believes the most important thing to remember is the
general election has more implications than who will be the next
President of the United States. Members in the House of Representatives
and Senate provide another step in the checks and balances. State and local elections also have major implications on the legislation that impacts the day-to-day activities here at home. “I
sincerely believe your local-level vote is one of the most important
vote you can make,” Kedley said. “You shouldn’t vote for people who are
in it for personal gain or for a personal interest. The candidate you
vote for needs to be focused on the greater good of the society.”
